Welcome to The Pulse Café & Eatery (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (pulsecafe.ca and associated subdomains, including menu.pulsecafe.ca and catering.pulsecafe.ca), our online ordering pages hosted by Square, and any services or products you purchase from us.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.

You may browse our website for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to:

  • Use the site for illegal or harmful purposes

  • Attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the site’s functionality

  • Copy, scrape, or reproduce content without permission

We reserve the right to update or remove content, features, or services at any time.

2. Online Ordering Through Square

We use Square to process online orders for both café and catering services.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • Square collects and processes your payment information

  • We do not store or have access to your credit card number

  • Your order is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed

  • You must provide accurate contact and delivery/pickup details

Square’s terms apply to any transaction processed through their platform.

3. Pricing & Availability

All prices are listed in CAD and may change without notice.
Menu availability may vary and items may sell out.
We reserve the right to:

  • Modify pricing

  • Discontinue items

  • Limit quantities

  • Correct errors or inaccuracies

If there is a pricing or inventory error, we may cancel or adjust an order with notice to you.

4. Order Modifications & Cancellations

Café Orders

Orders placed for same-day pickup or delivery may not be modified once prepared.
Cancellations are not guaranteed and depend on the preparation stage.

Catering Orders

Catering orders follow these guidelines:

  • Changes must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery

  • Cancellations within 24–48 hours may incur partial charges

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may be non-refundable

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee them.

5. Pickup & Delivery Expectations

Pickup

Customers are responsible for arriving on time for their scheduled pickup.
Food quality may decline if not picked up promptly.

Delivery

If delivery is selected:

  • You must provide accurate address details

  • Someone must be available to receive the order

  • Any obstacles (condo access, buzzer issues, gate access, etc.) must be communicated

We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.

6. Refunds & Credits

Because food is perishable, refunds are issued only under the following circumstances:

  • Wrong item(s) received

  • Food quality concerns, at our discretion

  • Undelivered orders due to our error

We may offer refunds, partial refunds, or store credits based on the situation.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Customer error (wrong address, no-show, late pickup, etc.)

  • Issues caused by third-party platforms outside our control

7. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

We take care in the preparation of all food; however:

  • Our kitchen handles common allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, wheat, eggs)

  • Cross-contamination risks may exist

Customers with severe allergies should contact us before ordering.
We do not guarantee allergen-free products.

8. Gift Cards & Promotions

Gift cards, promotional offers, and discounts may be subject to specific terms.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.

All branding, logos, text, images, and content on our website belong to The Pulse Café & Eatery.
